Pictures from Rochelle Railroad Days
Rochelle Illinois has built a railroad viewing stand at the diamond of the BNSF and UP railroad lines. Both railroads are double track here. It is not unusual to see trains pass as often as every 5 minutes! This was the first 'Railroad Days' event in Rochelle. On weekends the parking lot is usually full, with overflow parking on the street. The Rochelle Railroad Park is open to visitors 24 hours a day.
